“Quarant’anni fa le donne scendevano in piazza urlando “io sono mia”. Fu una battaglia dura ma sacrosanta per diritti, emancipazione, parità, e persino per il proprio corpo e la propria sessualità. Ora la rabbia femminista si è spenta, anche perchè principi e uguaglianze si possono dare per acquisiti. Per questo pensiamo non sia più il tempo di gridare “Io sono mia”. Bensì di affermare “Io sono”. Come un assioma di cartesiana femminilità, l’incipit di questa nuova era femminile, il primo punto di un immaginario manifesto della donna moderna che si piace e sa ciò che vuole in un mondo dove i sessi si sfidano e giocano senza duellare o volersi dominare.”.
"Forty years ago women demonstrated by shouting: “ I’m mine”. It was a hard struggle, but it was a sacred one for their rights, emancipation, equality, and even for their own body and sexuality. Nowadays women’s anger has faded away as principles and equality have been acquired. This is the reason why we think that the time to shout : “ I’m mine” is over. It is now high time to say: “I am”. It is like an axiom of Cartesian femininity, the beginning of a new women’s era, the first step of a plain imaginary of the modern woman, who likes herself and knows exactly what she wants, in a world in which sexes challenge one another and play without duelling or wanting to dominate”.
４０年前、女性達は広場に集まり “io sono mia” （私は私自身のもの) と自己主張 の声をあげました。厳しい戦い でしたが、女性解放、男女同権、性や身体に至まで、女性の権利を獲得するための極めて神聖な訴えでした。男女平等が 実現した今日、女性達の怒りは静まりました。“io sono mia”と叫ぶ時代は終わり、デカルトのフェミニティの格言のように“io sono”（私は）と主張する時が来たのです。新たな女性の時代の始まりです。男 女が 互いに競い合い戯れる世の中で、争ったり支配することなく、自身を愛し何が欲しいかを熟知している現代女性による想 像上のマニフェストです。
